If you plan to make a holiday of your trip to Ireland, here are some travel favourite recommendations of ours!

Dublin

If you fly into Dublin and wish to see the city, here are some tips!

If you have around 1 week of travel in general, we recommend 1-2 days in Dublin.

Wild Atlantic Way

If you are travelling in total for around a week (including the wedding days) I recommend heading West and then South from Dublin.
If you have more time, I recommend you head North as well to the Northern Irish coast.

Galway city is a culture city with lots of pubs, traditional Irish music and a good local food scene.

From Dublin, you can drive West to Galway. From Galway you follow the coastal road called the “Wild Atlantic Way”. This route follows the coast all the way down west of Ireland, past the Cliffs of Moher and will bring you to Clonakilty, and Dunmore House Hotel which is based on the Wild Atalntic Way!

Aislinn’s Dad is from near to Ballybunion Cliffs as marked on the map to the right.
The Dingle Peninsula and Ring of Kerry are also great drives.

There is lots to do in and around Clonakilty as well, with lots of beaches including the beautiful Inchydoney Beach just across from Dunmore House Hotel.
